Become a Certified Pahlavani Instructor
Master the ancient art of Persian Yoga (Pahlavani) with a comprehensive certification program based on the authentic curriculum of the world’s oldest Zurkhaneh (House of Strength) in Iran. With a 700-year legacy and 500 years of continuous teaching, this system has shaped warriors and athletes for centuries.
Taught by a native practitioner, experienced teacher, and Doctor of Chiropractic with over 20 years of expertise in fitness and martial arts, this program provides:

Prerequisites
• Own Meel and Shena is required for the online certification
• Meel and Shena are provided for the in-person certification
• No prior experience needed, but you should be comfortable with push-ups

• Principals of Pahlavani
• Fundamental techniques and progressions/regressions with the Shena
• Level 1 postures with the Shena
• Fundamental techniques and progressions/regressions with the Meel
• Level 1 exercises and variations with the Meel
• Level 1 Narmesh – dynamic flexibility exercises
• Level 1 Pazadan – cardio aerobic exercises
•The correct way to perform each exercise and variation, including how to cue and correct others
• The purpose and function of each exercise, along with the bio-mechanical processes involved
• Safety aspects and injury prevention considerations
• How to introduce beginners to the Pahlavani
• How to assess clients’ readiness for Pahlavani, and regress and progress the movements as needed
• How to design, format and introduce individual and group exercise programs and classe

In-person program – Ca. 8 hours single day session
